Last week Google released Chrome OS 51 for Windows, Mac and Linux. The most recent update includes a truck load of bug fixes, added security features as well as the much discussed Credential Management API.
Chrome 51 touts page rendering and performance improvements that will increase page load speed as well as battery life improvement with up to 30% less power consumption. Merge tabs and apps has also been abandoned in this latest update.
Updates are available now via the Play Store.
