TurboNote is an online video note taking application. It allows user to take time-stamped notes of videos across a wide array of popular social and educational websites.
I never really thought I would use an app like this until I tried it. It makes taking notes and referencing video save points super easy. As you can see in the video below, as you take a note, TurboNote time-stamps each dictation for quick reference. This can be very useful when collaborating on video edits or highlighting key points to share with others.
From an educational standpoint, this can be a powerful tool for students and educators alike. With the abilitly to organize your notes or pinpoint specific topics within a video, TurboNote is sure to save time as well as make your work more efficient.
TurboNote also allows you to bookmark videos. This is a major plus if you like keeping your bookmark folder tidy like I do.
TurboNote supports most popular video sites such as YouTube, Video, NetFlix and DailyMotion. In addition, a large number of educational Massive online open courses(mooc’s) such as TED, Khan Academy, Coursera and many more.
While TurboNote is still in beta testing, it is available at the Chrome Web Store and seems to work without issue on my device.
TurboNote is definitely a must-have tool for students and educators alike. For anyone who is collaborating on video edits or research projects, I definitely think this app could benefit you greatly.
